Oh Chocolate

Some days, well everyday for me it just has to be chocolate. I limit myself to two squares of dark chocolate a day ( Lindt choc and chilli being my current favourite)with the occasional blow out. I think this little choc bomb could be defined as the blow out. 6" devils chocolate cake filled with dark chocolate ganache. Yum

Highlight Me

It's been a while since my last post, just before easter in fact so sorry about that. However whilst I am not on the computer I am therefore more productive in the cake department or so I like to tell myself. Anyway this was a really fun cake I made for Pete's father's 80th birthday.Yes it is stabilo highlighter pen cake. Apparently this gentleman likes to highlight interesting passages he has read hence the cake was a bit of a family joke.Too cute I thought. I hope it was a really enjoyable birthday and keep right on highlighting...

Collingwood Football Cake

A birthday cake made for Paddy who is a bit of a Collingwood football fan. The logo is an edible image and the cake is a madeira sponge infused with lemon syrup and filled with lemon curd and white chocolate ganache. Hope you had a great birthday. Thanks for dropping by.x
